GuardCy Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GuardCy is preparing for Public Beta. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, including through the Beta waitlist, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

General site visits. This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking tools. Our hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address, user-agent, request time, and similar network metadata, as necessary to deliver and protect the website.

Beta waitlist information

If you join the GuardCy Beta waitlist through our website, we collect your email address, the date you joined, the signup source, and the version of the waitlist notice presented when you joined.

The waitlist form asks only for your email address. We do not request your name, company, phone number, or other profile information through the form.

3. How we use this information

We use Beta waitlist information to manage the GuardCy Beta waitlist and send you updates about Beta availability and access.

We do not treat joining the waitlist as consent for general marketing, newsletters, promotional campaigns, or unrelated commercial email. If we ever want to contact you for those purposes, we will ask for your separate, explicit consent first.

4. Retention

We retain Beta waitlist information while the waitlist is active and for a limited period after the Beta opens, unless you unsubscribe or request deletion earlier.

5. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Beta waitlist, or ask us to delete your waitlist information, at any time by contacting us at privacy@guardcy.com.

6. Where this information is stored

The Beta waitlist is designed to run on Cloudflare's infrastructure: a Cloudflare Pages Function (or Worker) handling waitlist signups, backed by Cloudflare D1 for storage. At the time of this draft, that backend has not yet been implemented, and no waitlist data is being collected through this website.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as GuardCy moves toward Public Beta. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
